Millenia Tower and Millenia Walk Retail Mall

1993 – 1995

The Millenia Tower is a 218 m, 41-storey skyscraper in Millenia Singapore designed by Kevin Roche. It is the centrepiece of the commercial and business development and less than 20 minutes away from the Changi Airport.

The Millenia Walk retail mall is a shopping centre developed with an ambitious vision and coupled with engineering innovation. The shopping centre was built using a series of 15 monumental pyramid domes with one mega central dome, capped to draw skylights. The mall offers 300,000 sq ft of luxury retail and dining, spanning over 40,000 sqm.

Designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Philip Johnson, Millenia Walk is a post-modernist addition to the cityscape of Singapore’s Marina Center district. It embodies consistent proportions throughout its design, composed along a monumental scale that seeks to expand spatial awareness and re-create the sensations of an indoor street.

The Millenia Tower and Millenia Walk retail mall stand out as an exceptional work of design and architecture amidst the area’s numerous office towers and serves as a favourite picture-spot amongst tourists and locals.
