This nine-storey second government-run nursing home is designed to provide 248 beds which will cater for geriatric and dementia patients. A fast-track project constructed by Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) system.
Dragages Singapore elevated PPVC system to the next level by using hybrid steel-concrete to complete this fast-track project. A total of 343 PPVC modules used, each weighed 17 tonnes to 20 tonnes. Our project team managed to meet tight work schedule by installing four to five modules per day, completing one floor in two days. High quality workmanship is the top priority of our client. With the successful adoption of PPVC system and implementation of tight quality control, our efforts paid were well recognised by our client.
