The Belmond Green was a design-and-build contract for a luxury residential complex with 221 apartments in five 12-storey blocks. Exuding a modern contemporary vibe, the apartments have an average area of 130 sqm and are furnished in marble and teak. By the time of its completion, it was the largest freehold residential development along the exclusive Balmoral road.
The complex lies in a spacious estate comprising 1.7 hectares of wooded grounds, along with a swimming pool and an underground car park. Accented by pops of rich emerald green amidst lush landscaping, the Belmond Green provides a natural and tranquil haven for its residents. The development is also located within a district popular among Singapore’s expatriate community and is surrounded by some of the country’s most elite schools.
Dragages Singapore and the architect firm jointly developed the basement car park in order to maximize the use of the basement space and rise up the basement levels. Joint-hand efforts resulted in the reduction of the basement area by almost 15% and a reduction on the amount of excavation works.
